Its better this way, these kind of stories dont drag shit out , and when they end , they end with a bang leaving only fond memories and are easily rewatchable due to being short but fun.

Becareful of what you wished so you'd not be disapointed with a trash of a disapointment sequel like Shield hero S2

Actually shield hero is like a revenge plot anime it should have ended in season 1 because beside getting his revenge there's nothing much interesting gonna happen now it's just boring open world game that you explore some random people

Shield hero had trash fucking source material, the LN is very bad, really ruined my expectations after watching s1 for the first time years ago

Honestly I was expecting to see more of that lilybell because that guy has that glare on chisato it's probably the guy that was partnered to chisato or that guy lost to chisato

The things is in my opnion. This shows lives of Chisato. Her abilities and her personality. So a version of this with lily Bell tbh would just be disappointing to me

Yeah the whole main point of this anime is about chisato and her heart if they just explained what happened to lilybell and the other characters then we wouldn't need a second season because if chisato diss there's no more lycoris chisato is what makes this anime really interesting and so is the villains

True, looking back on some shows, it sure would have been better to have a proper season with a proper ending rather than some bad sequels.

This anime original is making me feel that special felling while watching an anime and an original anime just like this sometimes would go rush and left a lot of plot holes but this anime is different it made me feel something else like they really did well in this anime especially the ending song

That is if they end the series is good ending.i know many with great plot but ruined by the ending(not AOT)in case

Madoka sold like fucking crazy bruh. Lycoris is popular, but not that popular. There is no reason the stakeholders of the Lycoris project would give the go-ahead for a second season, it simply isn't as profitable. Although, I really want to be proven wrong cuz I love this show.

kadokawa already stated that the novel sold so well in pre orders that they requested second printing
besides even a not so popular anime already got or getting a s2

I did not expected that lycoris would be so popular in Japan and glad I watched this even though episode 1 got me bored because the girl was so energetic but turns out it's actually has some reason

not just japan, been popular outside been voted as #1 multiple times on different polls every week, never been out of the top 3, theres a new figures for the 2 girls

A manga for this is being published soon so we'll see. Hopefully with the success of this show, the manga will sell as well and prompt a second season. Fingers crossed.

Very true. However my point was moreso to say that there are plenty of hyper successful orignal shows Like Cowboy Bebop, Girls und Panzer, Panty & Stocking, etc.

Without source material, the writing still has to be done but might actually be easier to pull after that. Just can't be within a year.

This is a very stupid comparison. Lyco Reco does not have a source material with more content, thus making it harder for there to be a season 2. What would a season 2 of this even be about? I rather they have 1 season of this that's good than another season which could potentially ruin everything because they wanted to milk it.

We haven't gotten a beach episode, or festival arc, or Christmas episode. There's lots of situations to put Chisato x Takina in for us.

this show isn't really a slice of life and we already had and episode where they went out together "one last time". If there's gonna be a season 2 it's gonna be serious again for the most part with some light moments thrown in here or there
